Birth isn't just the day your baby arrives—it's the day everything changes. It is powerful, vulnerable, messy, beautiful, and unlike anything else you'll ever experience.

That's why I do what I do.

SWEET WORDS

  • My husband and I welcomed our first baby in December, and after asking for doula recommendations on Facebook, Vanessa was easily our top choice based on all the amazing things people had to say about her. Everything we heard proved to be true. Vanessa spent several hours getting to know us and making sure she understood and supported the birth plan I envisioned. She stayed in touch with me throughout my pregnancy, and when it was time for labor, she never left my side. She educated us, supported our decisions, and shared so many helpful resources along the way. During the birth, she did everything she could to help me stay comfortable while also supporting my husband so he could be present and confident throughout the process. After our baby arrived, Vanessa continued to check in on us and made sure we felt comfortable bringing our daughter home and navigating those first days of parenthood. She truly went above and beyond—teaching us how to swaddle, sharing breastfeeding tips, helping us properly use the car seat, and so much more. A few days later, she even came to our home to take our newborn photos and was incredibly patient with our little girl. Vanessa’s calm nature, knowledge, and patience make her an incredible doula and a wonderful newborn photographer. We had such an amazing experience with her and will absolutely be working with her again in the future.
